Lets simplify it for the sake of me not wanting to do complex math right now. Assume we only 4b bluff and 50% of the time their 3b is for value and they will 5b shove and you have to fold 50% they are folding to your 4b.
So if we raise 3bb. They 3b to 10bb and we 4b to 25bb how much do they need to fold for us to make a profit?
So 50% of the time we win 38bb and 50% of the time we lose 25bb. Our EV is 3.5bb. Compair that to the 3bb we lose if we just fold.
So 4bing has 6.5bb more ev than folding does against that type of villain.
maybe im just tired right now and cant follow u but if we only 4bet bluff and he has 50% value in his 3bets we have to min4bet to break even...
